How difficult it is to get your dog to take serrapeptase?

We all love out pets and as they get older, they might benefit from serrapeptase for their aching joints.  There is a product called Serrapet available for pets, but how easy is it to get your pet to take it?

Well, there are a couple of things you can do.  Firstly, open their mouth and put the serrapet at the back of their throat.  Close there mouth and tip their head back while massaging the front of the throat.  The dog will swallow it.

Another option is to put the tablet inside a treat, though read the instructions on the label as the treat should be non-protein in nature.

The video below shows one dog where taking the tablets is not a problem:

About Andy

I suffered a serious neck injury when I was about 19 years old. That problem didn't affect me until I was in my 40s, but I then suffered two prolapsed discs in my neck and problems with my right arm and hand. Serrapeptase was recommended by my chiropractor to try to break up the scar tissue around the vertebrae that were causing me the problems. It seemed to help me with my problem, so created this site to help inform people what serrapeptase is, what it can do and just as importantly, what it cannot do. I hope you find the information useful.
