  • Vets are starting to give horses serrapeptase.
  • Cats are more difficult to treat with serrapeptase as they don’t like taking the tablet.
  • Dogs are easy to treat as you can give them tablets.
  • Dogs 2-3 tablets a day.
  • Cats 1 –2 a day.
  • Horse 2-3 a day, maybe 6 if it is serious.

About Andy

I suffered a serious neck injury when I was about 19 years old. That problem didn't affect me until I was in my 40s, but I then suffered two prolapsed discs in my neck and problems with my right arm and hand. Serrapeptase was recommended by my chiropractor to try to break up the scar tissue around the vertebrae that were causing me the problems. It seemed to help me with my problem, so created this site to help inform people what serrapeptase is, what it can do and just as importantly, what it cannot do. I hope you find the information useful.

I have a King Charles Cavalier Spaniel that was diagnosed with and enlarged heart and fluid on the lungs. How many tablets should I give him to try to help him?

I want to know if injectable Serrapeptase is available, from ANY alternative vets, perhaps. My cat won’t touch these pills. I tried dipping them in butter and meat flavored oil. No dice. I tried crushing them with a hammer. Not successful. I put one in the coffee bean grinder, but not sure it will help without the coating.

Serratiopeptidase is a very powder anti-inflammatory enzyme.
We at Anthem Biosciences makes it by fermentation and are currently catering to the need for Human and animal health usages.
will be delighted to support on requirement of the enzyme for any such usages/application
